Nassau County's Women's History Month Poetry Contest Submission Form
To celebrate Women's History Month, the Nassau County Youth Council under Nassau County Govt., is hosting a Poetry Contest with the theme of Women's History! This means we ask you to write a poem centered around anything to do with the experience of women, women's history, your relation to women, a female role model or historical leader, or your admiration for women. The Winners will receive a Gift Card and Recognition from Nassau County Government. THIS FORM IS DUE THURSDAY MARCH 31ST AT 11:59PM. |

Department of New York American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program “A Constitutional Speech Contest”: The prepared oration must be on some aspect of the Constitution of the United States with emphasis on the duties and obligations of a citizen of our government. The same subject and oration used in the county, district, and zone contests must be used in the department and national contest. The prepared oration must be the original effort of each contestant and must not take less than eight minutes or more than 10 minutes for delivery.
